He is the 12th president in the history of Finland.<\/p>\n<h2>Sauli Niinist\u00f6&#8217;s background<\/h2>\n<p>Sauli V\u00e4in\u00e4m\u00f6 Niinist\u00f6 was born on August 24, 1948 in Salo. He has a bachelor&#8217;s degree in law and has held many important positions during his career. He has also been involved in promoting Finland&#8217;s security and defense.
