To the question “Is the sea cool?” there is no unequivocal answer, as the sea temperature varies in different regions and in different seasons. In general, the sea water on the coast of Finland and in the archipelago is cooler than, for example, in the Mediterranean. In summer, the sea water can warm up a bit, but it often stays quite cool compared to, for example, swimming pools.<\/p>\n

Sea temperature is affected by many factors, such as air temperature, sun, currents and depth. For example, seawater on shallow beaches can heat up faster than in deeper waters.<\/p>\n

If you want more detailed information about the sea temperature in a certain area, you should check local weather reports or sea water temperature information from e.g. marine weather services.<\/p>\n
