Identity consists of many different factors, such as personal characteristics, social roles, cultural background and life experiences. Identity is not static, but can change and develop over time.<\/p>\n<h2>What does identity include?<\/h2>\n<p>Identity consists of several different components, which together form an overall picture of an individual. These components include, among others:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Personal characteristics:<\/b> These include an individual&#8217;s character traits, values, beliefs and interests.<\/li>\n<li><b>Social roles:<\/b> An individual&#8217;s roles in the family, work, circle of friends and other communities affect identity.<\/li>\n<li><b>Cultural background:<\/b> The culture to which an individual belongs affects his values, beliefs and behavior.<\/li>\n<li><b>Life experiences:<\/b> Past experiences, such as education, work, relationships and other significant events, shape identity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Identity development<\/h2>\n<p>Identity develops and changes at different stages of life. In childhood and adolescence, identity is often still being formed, and young people are looking for themselves and their own place in the world. In adulthood, identity can be established, but it can still change with significant life changes, such as a career change, moving or starting a family.<\/p>\n<h2>The meaning of identity<\/h2>\n<p>Identity is an important part of a person&#8217;s well-being and self-esteem. A clear and positive identity helps an individual to feel valuable and meaningful. It also helps a person navigate social situations and make decisions that are in line with their values \u200b\u200band goals.<\/p>\n<h2>Multiplicity of identity<\/h2>\n<p>Identity is not unequivocal or simple, but it can be multiple and even contradictory. An individual may feel that he belongs to several different groups and have several different roles, all of which affect his identity.
