Although Switzerland is located in Europe, it has never joined the EU. Instead, Switzerland is part of a country belonging to the European Economic Area (EEA), which enables it to participate in the EU internal market without full membership.<\/p>\n<p>However, Switzerland has concluded numerous agreements with the EU, which regulate, among other things, trade, mobility and cooperation in various fields.
