What is artificial intelligence?
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a branch of computer science that focuses on developing systems and software that can perform tasks that normally require human intelligence. Such tasks can be, for example, learning, reasoning, problem solving, language comprehension and visual perception.
Definition and history of artificial intelligence
Artificial intelligence can be defined in many different ways, but generally it refers to the ability of machines to perform intelligent functions. Artificial intelligence is used in many different fields and applications:

- Traffic: Self-driving cars and traffic management systems use artificial intelligence to improve safety and efficiency.

Challenges and ethical questions of artificial intelligence
Although artificial intelligence offers many opportunities, it also comes with challenges and ethical questions:
