Location and political situation

Sudan is located in the northeastern part of Africa, and its neighbors are Egypt in the north, Eritrea and Ethiopia in the east, South Sudan in the south, the Central African Republic in the southwest, Chad in the west, and Libya in the northwest. Sudan is the world’s third largest Arab country by area.
