How is the roof rainwater system installed?

Rainwater systems for roofs are usually installed in the following way:

1. Preparatory work

Before starting the installation, it is important to make sure that the roof surface is clean and flat. If necessary, the old parts of the rainwater system are removed and the new parts are measured and cut to the right size.

2. Fixing of pipes and parts

The pipes and parts are attached to the ceiling and to each other with appropriate fasteners and screws. The pipes must be at a sufficiently steep angle so that the water flows efficiently off the roof. When attaching, it is important to make sure that all parts are tightly closed and that the pipes do not bend or leak.

3. Installation of storm horns

Downspouts are installed in such a way that they lead rainwater away from the building’s foundations. The downpipes must be long enough and they must be firmly attached to the wall or the ground. If necessary, downspouts can be equipped with wells or filters that prevent debris from entering the pipeline.

4. Finishing work

Once the rainwater system has been installed, the tightness and functionality of all parts are checked once more. If necessary, finishing work is done, such as painting or sealing, so that the system looks neat and lasts a long time.
