What is motivation?

Motivation is a force or resource that makes us act to achieve our goals. It is the force that gets us going and helps us stay committed and determined. Motivation can be both internal and external, and it can vary in different situations and with different people.

Inner motivation comes from ourselves and is based on our own values, goals and desires. Extrinsic motivation, on the other hand, comes from outside, such as rewards, encouragement or pressure. People can be motivated by different things and for different reasons, and it is important to recognize your own motivational factors and needs.

Motivation can also be divided into two different types: extrinsic and intrinsic motivation. Extrinsic motivation refers to external incentives, such as money or fame, while intrinsic motivation comes from within and is based on the joy and satisfaction of doing things yourself.

Motivation is an important part of our lives and affects how we perform in different situations and how we achieve our goals. It can vary from day to day and from situation to situation, but maintaining and strengthening it is the key to success and well-being.
