Is Hungary in the Eurozone?

Yes, Hungary is not part of the Eurozone. Hungary has not yet adopted the euro as its currency, but the official currency of the country is the Hungarian forint (HUF). Hungary joined the European Union in 2004, but it has not met all the requirements for joining the eurozone, such as the conditions of the Stability and Growth Pact.

Even though Hungary is not part of the Eurozone, it is nevertheless part of the European Union and participates in EU decision-making and cooperation with other member countries. However, Hungary has its own currency and an independent monetary policy, which distinguishes it from the countries of the euro area.
