What is recycling?

Recycling is a process where used materials are collected, sorted, processed and transformed into new products or raw materials. The goal is to reduce the amount of waste and save natural resources. Recycling also helps to reduce the load on the environment and climate emissions.

Recyclable materials can be, for example, paper, cardboard, glass, metal, plastic and bio-waste. These materials are usually collected separately and delivered to recycling facilities, where they are further processed and sorted. New products can be made from recycled materials, such as cardboard boxes, glass bottles, metal cans and plastic bottles.

Recycling is an important part of sustainable development and environmental protection. It helps to save natural resources, reduce the amount of waste in landfills and reduce the burden on the environment. Recycling is also economically profitable, as it saves raw material procurement costs and energy consumption.
