What is a wild animal?

Wild animal

A wild animal is an animal that lives in its natural environment without direct human control or influence. Wild animals can be found in different parts of the world, and they can live, for example, in forests, deserts, mountains or water bodies. Wild animals are an important part of ecosystems and their habitats.

Wild animals are often endangered because their habitats have been affected by human activities. Deforestation, climate change, pollution and hunting are just a few examples of factors that threaten the survival of wild animals. Many animal species are in danger of disappearing completely if their habitats are not protected and human activities are not brought under control.

Wildlife conservation is important for many reasons. They are part of nature’s diversity and the balance of ecosystems. In addition, they can be important sources of resources in, for example, medical research. Wildlife conservation requires cooperation between different parties, such as governments, organizations and individuals. Each of us has a responsibility to protect wild animals and their habitats for future generations.
